Tooth Extractions – Fort Myers, FL

We Make Extractions Easy

It may seem strange for a dentist to talk about the benefits of tooth extractions, but – although it’s a last resort – there are sometimes great benefits to removing teeth. If Dr. Hoop determines that’s the case for you, then he and our team will work together to make your entire experience positive. In fact, even if you have had a tooth removed in the past, your experience here will be very different because now we can: take digital images ahead of time in order to plan your extraction, help you stay relaxed with sedation options, and offer you a fully functional and beautiful restoration with a dental implant. The Process of Removing a Tooth

Good news: you can have a tooth pulled and not feel a thing. You can also stay perfectly relaxed during the entire process. It is all possible with conscious sedation. The medication will help you feel very sleepy and at ease while in the dental chair. There are two types of extractions: simple and surgical. A simple extraction is used when the tooth has broken through the gumline. Surgical extractions, on the other hand, are required when the tooth is trapped underneath. In both cases, you don’t have to worry – you won’t feel any pain or discomfort. Plus, many patients don’t even remember their procedure!
